KR2
The KR2 pictures are all taken since the end of
September 2007. The plane had been in a storage
unit for several years and hadn't been worked on.
As a result of attendance at Oshkosh '06 I decided
to do away with the retract gear and install the
Diehl fixed gear. At the same time I'm adding the
Dr. Dean hinges to the elevator and redoing the
elevator control assembly with an internal
counterbalance like Mark Langford. I've removed
the single control stick and installed a dual
stick assembly also as per Mark Langford's
design. All improvements to the basic KR2
design. This is a regluar KR2 and not the "S"
version. It's cold in the hangar this winter but
work is going to go on no matter what. More to
come.
